How is the PVC patch produced?

The said PVC patch is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and has a velcro backing (Hook and Loop). Usually, only hook fastener on back is enough for most using. PVC Patch is more modern, more durable, more washable compared with embroidery patches or woven patches.

The process for making these PVC Patches involves several steps. Here, we,Jarler factory have simplified the introduction of the production process for easy understanding.

Design Artwork & Mold Setup

Create the patch design by using a computer program. The design should include any text or images or colors and any details that will be included on the patch. The design file must be editable, and Jarler designer will program the design so that the mold machine can accurately engrave the effect we want.

PVC Patch Processing

First, Jarler color the ingredients according to the design; inject the liquid material of various colors into the mold; bake it dry and take it out. The color of the liquid material corresponding to each position in the mold must be very accurate and same as the design.Baking timing is also very important.

Sewing Hook and Loop

Use laser cut machine to cut out the velcro as the same shape of patch.To ensure the size is same as the patch and make it look clean and nice.Use computerized sewing machine to stitch the velcro onto the back of the patch. To ensure that the thread is in the sewing seam.
